I want to do this business for a lifetime and pass it on to my kids: 24-year-old roasted plantain seller says
Don Jazzy started off by noting that he has 'changing' views about marriage and there are times when he asks if it’s a path that anyone should thread.
Speaking on his early marriage, the producer said he got married at a time when the music-making business was picking up and he had to start travelling around for shows and spending late hours at the studio.
According to him, these were things that also required leaving his family at home and in most cases, it was always hard to come up with explanations.
The producer, however, made it clear that his wife at the time was an understanding woman as she could see all that the music business required of him.
He explained that this was what led him to the decision of choosing the music first.
"I had to make that decision to face my music squarely and I have been loyal to this music from that time till now."
Speaking on his marital status, the Mavin boss said a lot of people knew about the marriage including those that he dated afterwards.
He, however, noted that most of them probably didn’t feel the need to divulge the information to the public.
Also fielding a question about kids, the ace producer said he has none at the moment. He said after sharing the news of his marriage, people went to his ex-wife’s page and assumed that he’s the father of her child.
Don Jazzy said that they never had any child together. The producer added that he has no reason to hide his child if he has one.
