Nigerians on social media have been taken on a trip down memory lane with an adorable photo of the first white wedding in Igede-Ekiti, Ekiti state.
The photo was shared on LinkedIn by HistoryVille which described the couple as Mr and Mrs John Oke Agbede.
The wedding was said to have taken place on January 11, 1940.
"Mr. and Mrs. John Oke Agbede at the first white wedding in Igede-Ekiti, Western Region of Nigeria, January 11, 1940. #HistoryVille."
Reacting to the adorable photos, a LinkedIn user identified as Oni Oladunjoye said:

Bianca shared some lovely throwback pictures from her traditional wedding ceremony with the former Biafran leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
