Another Nigerian has brought glory to the country by reason of his recent feat in the world of data science.
Abel Aboh, a Nigerian-born British became a finalist in the 2021 edition of the prestigious British Data Awards.

The UK data and technology influencer will be competing in the Data Leader of the Year category along with five other personalities.
Reacting to the milestone recorded by Aboh, the Nigerian government through the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission official Twitter handle gave him a congratulatory shout out.
Celebrating Aboh, the Bank of England in a social media post hailed the stride of their Data Science Lead. They also sent him a congratulatory message.
The British Data Awards is an annual UK award run by Predatech. It seeks to unravel data success stories and celebrate organizations that are passionate about data, irrespective of their size.
This year had over 148 entries. The winner in each of the categories will be announced on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a British boxer of Nigerian descent had emerged WBO Cruiserweight champion.
British boxing sensation, Lawrence Okolie, who was born to Nigerian parents, defeated Krzysztof Glowacki during their WBO cruiserweight bout.
Okolie landed a heavy right on his opponent, starting his reign as the new WBO champion in the cruiserweight category. He is currently unbeaten having taken after the likes of David Haye, Tony Bellew and Johnny Nelson who all previously held world crowns in the 200lb class.
The Pole was being picked off by the longer limbs of Okolie, who stabbed out jabs and stinging body shots in the second round.
