Days after the sack, the former media aide on Monday, March 8, said he left the government with more goodwill than the one he got when joined.

He tweeted:

"After 5yrs in Government, the goodwill I got after leaving Government, is a million times more than the one I got when I got in. That's indeed an honourable exit, which is rare in Nigeria. This is certainly God's doing & I am eternally grateful to Him for His endless Blessings "

Meanwhile, Legit.ng recalls that hours after he was declared missing, the Department of State Services (DSS) finally confirmed the arrest and detainment of Yakasai.

The secret police officially confirmed the development in a statement it released on Sunday, February 28.

However, the DSS' spokesperson, Peter Afunnanya, said the former media aide was arrested for more than expressing his personal opinion about the government.
