After more than 20 years, Lauryn Hill's only studio album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, has been certified diamond by the RIAA. The industry confirmed that Lauryn's album has sold over 10 million units since its release.

Lauryn's only studio album has been popular over the years and is considered a timeless album. People all over the world are still streaming the album even today.

Lauryn Hill has now joined an exclusive list of artists who have reached diamond status when it comes to sales. The list consists of artists like Michael Jackson, Adele, Eminem, 2Pac and Britney Spears.

Although it was believed that the album would be the start of much more, Lauryn never released a follow-up album.

She released a live album titled MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 in 2002 and a compilation album titled An Invitation to the Best of Lauryn Hill in 2000.

“The wild thing is no one from my label has ever called me and asked, how can we help you make another album, EVER... EVER. Did I say ever? Ever!” said Lauryn.

Lauryn's goal was to make an album that would last for generations. Since the album went diamond, she has definitely met her goal.
