A Nigerian man has caused a stir on social media after posting video of a white lady eating fufu with her bare hand and joking that he would love to marry her.

In the video, the white lady could be seen praising the Nigerian delicacy as she enjoyed the meal. According to the lady, Nigerian food is underrated but delicious.

The lady said she loves being Nigerian because she grew up eating the country's food.

Sharing the photo on Twitter, @osamudiamien wrote:

"Please help me find this woman because I’m ready to marry her."

Nigerian ladies were not comfortable with the joke and they took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

Tweep with the handle @d_queen_v wrote:

"All the ones that have been eating fufu here since they were born, have u married them? When African women eat their food and make a post do they exalt us? Let them enjoy the meal and let’s see road."
