Chelsea travel to Old Trafford for their Premier League matchday six encounters against Manchester United this weekend.

The Blues are winless in their last two encounters across competitions and they will hopefully return to winning ways in their next outing.

Frank Lampard's men were forced to a 3-3 draw against Southampton in the EPL on Saturday, October 17, before being forced to a goalless draw by Sevilla in the Champions League a few days later.

Meanwhile, the outcome of the meeting against United will play a key role in their title contention for this season.

Billy Gilmour and Kepa Arrizabalaga will not be available for the clash due to the recent injuries they sustained, however, others are fit and ready to roll.

With Edouard Mendy walking back into the line up against Sevilla despite just coming back from injury, he will be between the sticks for the London club this weekend.

The back four should have the likes of Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Reece James and Kurt Zouma directly shielding the goalkeeper from the home team's attacks.

Jorginho might be played in the defensive midfield role while N'golo Kante and Matteo Kovacic playing ahead of him.

Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner are expected to play from the flanks while Kai Havertz deployed in the central forward position as Lampard is expected to come out with a 4-3-3 formation.

Chelsea are currently eighth on the log with eight points after five matches - two points better than their hosts who have one match in hand.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Kepa Arrizabalaga may have played his last game for Chelsea in their 3-3 draw at Stamford Bridge last weekend.

The Spanish goalkeeper has been under fire at the London club for underperforming - most recently after allowing Southampton to come back and grab a point away from home.

And the Blues technical advisor hinted that the £71.6 million signee might have played his game for them regardless of the little trust Frank Lampard has in him.
