Death always comes as a rude shock to many but that cannot stop it from being the reality every human being is bound to face.

Since the beginning of the year 2020, the world has lost a number of great personalities and their demise has shaken people to their cores as they struggle to grasp the idea of life without them.

On June 17, 2020, the Nigerian media and entertainment industry was thrown into great sorrow after it was reported that popular broadcaster, Dan Foster, had lost his life.

According to reports, the former Cool FM radio presenter died as a result of the deadly coronavirus. Soon after the sad news hit social media, a number of people took to their pages to share their tributes to the late star.

Many of them recounted how he positively impacted their lives and how he inspired them. Just recently, Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke Linus, reposted an audio that was made by the late broadcaster in April to inspire hope in humanity.

In the caption of the post, which Okereke reposted from the Delyork creative academy’s page, which is owned by her husband, Linus Idahosa, it was said that little did Dan Foster know that the audio production would be his last message to humanity.

Idahosa's company had contacted Dan Foster to produce the piece which was made for a client and little did he know that it would be his farewell message to the world.

The caption reads: “When the COVID-19 scare was at its peak in April, I wrote this piece for a client, called on Dan to produce it. Little did I know that this would be his final farewell message to us.

May his words inspire Hope, Love and Faith in all of us and help us contemplate the true meaning of life.

Will miss you Dan..."

Radio personality, Do2dtun said that Dan Foster had inspired him greatly as he gave him the strength to do more.

Popular comedian, Bovi, said that Dan Foster was one of the reasons he did not run back to Delta state after he moved to Lagos in 2003.
