Spanish champions Barcelona are reportedly planning for the summer signing of Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez and Brazilian Neymar so as for them to bolster their squad this summer.

Although the outbreak of deadly coronavirus has caused serious financial issues in the world with all major sporting activities being suspended.

But according to the report by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona chiefs are still prepared to open their wallet this summer for them to get these two players.

Neymar left Barcelona for a move to Paris-Saint-Germain where he has been able to win two Ligue 1 title, but he is still not settled in France.

There were even reports that Neymar wanted to leave Paris-Saint-Germain before the start of the current season in Europe, but he changed his mind.

The report also added that Lionel Messi has told Barcelona chiefs that he wants a reunion with Neymar at the Camp Nou.

Lautaro Martínez on the other hand is wanted by Barcelona so as for him to be a replacement for Luis Saurez and also a cover up for Antoine Griezmann.

Since Suarez got injured this season, Antoine Griezmann has been topping the attack for Barcelona in all competitions.

Barcelona will now have to face serious competition for the signing of Lautaro Martinez from Chelsea who are also interested in the Inter Milan striker.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Lionel Messi's social media post blasting top staff of Barcelona regarding a pay cut has been clarified by the club President Josep Maria Bartomeu.

Bartomeu insisted that Messi has been supportive of the idea of cutting down player's wages by 70 per cent to help pay salaries of the coaching staff in full amid the outbreak of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Messi took to his social media handle to criticize senior members of staff who suggested that he was not in support of the huge wage reduction.

But Bartomeu has come in strong defence of the Barca captain to play down reports that Messi and his teammates were unhappy with the developments.
