Chelsea vs Man United: Odion Ighalo could line up up against Blues

- Chelsea vs Man United could see Odion Ighalo make his debut for the Red Devils

- The Nigerian striker joined the Manchester club on loan for the rest of the season

- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could also welcome Scott McTominay back to the squad

Man United are scheduled to play Chelsea after the winter break in a crucial Premier League clash on Monday, February 17.

The encounter comes at a critical time for United as they currently sit eighth on the log, six points behind the Blues who are fourth.

The Red Devils will therefore be looking to return to winning ways having dropped important points against Burnley and Wolves before the Premier League break.

As such, Solskjaer will be keen to parade a strong squad for the Stamford Bridge trip as they set their sights on Champions League qualification.

Despite still grappling with a raft of injuries, Solskjaer will be boosted with the arrival of two January signings in Odio Ighalo and Bruno Fernandes.

Fernandes has already made his debut for United, playing full minutes of the side's frustrating goalless draw against Wolves.

Ighalo, on the other hand is yet to make his bow, but with Solskjaer already short of depth upfront, the Nigerian forward could be afforded some minutes.

Meanwhile, David de Gea looks set to start between the sticks, with Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire and Shaw providing cover in defence.

And having shown significant improvement in the absence of injured Paul Pogba, Fred is bound to start alongside Matic and Fernandes in the middle of the pack.

Dan James, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial could lead the line as Mason Greenwood and Ighalo make the substitute bench.

Predicted Man United squad to face Chelsea:
