Man narrates how 10 years of hard work ended with award from Queen Elizabeth (photos)

A Tanzanian tech boss Given Edward has narrated the story of his hustle on social media with before and after photos. The tech boss shared the photos on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

Edward, who had started his hustle in his room ten years ago shared a photo of himself working on his computer. In the photo, he revealed that the picture represented the beginning of a decade.

After ten years of hard work, the tech boss received great recognition for all his work for the community. He was presented with an award by Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain.

The tech boss also shared a photo of when he received the award and revealed that the picture represented the end of a decade. He received the award for his innovation and impact.

Edward is the founder of Mtabe a tech company in Tanzania that uses artificial intelligence and SMS technology to deliver learning content to students who cannot afford textbooks and have no access to the internet.

He also founded another app known as app MyElimu. The app is an ed-tech discussion forum that allows peer learning and makes it possible for Tanzanian secondary school students to discuss school activities.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported the story of a corps member who honoured his mother by performing a parade for her. The corps member identified as Evesi Collins visited his mother to perform the parade and salute her. It was gathered that Collins did so to thank his mother for sacrifice a lot to put him through school.
