Jordan Henderson has won more trophies than Man United's last 3 captains

Jordan Henderson wrapped up 2019 by helping Liverpool win Club World Cup following the 1-0 victory over Flamengo in Doha.

The England international has now added another trophy into his kitty which is more than what the last three Man United captains have achieved over the years.

United have been trophy-less for the past two-and-half years and Henderson has scooped three winners medal in 2019 alone.

The last time the Red Devils won a trophy was in Jose Mourinho's first season at Old Trafford in 2017 where he won the EFL Cup and the Europa League.

And the club's all-time leading scorer Wayne Rooney was skipper of the side that time before leaving the club to join Major League Soccer outfit DC United.

But Michael Carrick, Antonio Valencia and current skipper Ashley Young, have all failed to land a silverware ever since, which has seen Henderson lift three trophies for their fiercest rivals Liverpool.
