Sowore has met bail conditions - Femi Falana

Detained human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has met the bail conditions imposed on him by the Federal High Court in Abuja, according to his lawyer, Femi Falana.
Falana, a senior advocate of Nigeria, revealed this on Wednesday, November 6, at the Federal High Court, adding that the defendants would be freed later on in the day.
The SAN said that he has told the prosecuting counsel, Hassan Liman, that his team is worried over the refusal of the State Security Service (SSS) to allow it prepare for the defence of the defendants.
He stated: “I had already asked my learned counsel for the prosecution, that we are confident that the defendants will be freed on Wednesday from the custody of the SSS having met the bail conditions imposed on them by this honourable court.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Falana had said that he was declared persona non grata by the DSS and was not allowed to visit his client in detention.
The human rights lawyer lamented that despite the fact that the trial was fixed to begin on Wednesday, November 6, the defence team was burdened by the failure of the prosecution to allow total representation of the defendants.
