Flight of 2 Muslims cancelled by US airlines as crew wasn't comfortable with them
- The flight of two Muslim men from Birmingham to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas were cancelled on Saturday, September 21
- This as crew members of the US airlines complained that they were not comfortable flying with the Muslims
- The men lamented that they were searched by agents of Transportation Security Administration after being interviewed by personnel of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
Two Muslim men have cried out after a United States (US) airlines cancelled their flight because the crew members complained that they were not comfortable flying with them.
Even more, the men said that when they got off from the plane, agents of the Transportation Security Administration searched their bags after they were interviewed by officers of the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Saturday, September 21, Dallas News reports.
The Muslims, Abderraoof Alkhawaldeh, a motivational speaker from Irving, and Issam Abdallah, a leader of a Non-profit Organisation (NGO) in Dallas, said that they have forwarded their complaints to the department of transportation in US, with the latter referring to the incident as the most humiliating in his life.
However, LaKesha Brown, a spokesman of the airline reported that the cancellation of the flight was caused by "concerns raised by a crew member and a passenger."
Brown further said that the airline has made moves to hear from the Muslim men in relation to their experience.

He said: "American and all of its regional partners have an obligation to take safety and security concerns raised by crew members and passengers seriously. All customers on Flight 5886 were rebooked on the next flight to DFW.
"We're committed to providing a positive experience to everyone who travels with us. Our team is working with Mesa to review this incident."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the second batch of 315 Nigerians on Wednesday, September 18, landed at the Lagos Airport at 7.21 pm.
The returnees were being transported to the cargo part of the Murtala International Airport. Legit.ng gathers that reporters were however not allowed to access the tarmac due to violation of air safety regulations.
