Rashford is understood to have offered to bring an ardent United fan only identified as John to Old Trafford to watch his favourite team take on Brighton on Sunday, November 10.

The Englishman was responding to a public plea to help the father of two watch the Red Devils in action for the first time.

A user, Matt Waymont, took to Twitter to make the plea public, tagging Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba in the tweet.

Waymouth revealed John had beat stage three cancer, and well wishers had collected enough to fly him to England, but needed help to get him to watch a match at Old Trafford.

"My legendary USA friend, John, has beaten stage 3 cancer! He’s a lifelong Man Utd fan but has never been to England or Old Trafford," he tweeted.

"We raised enough ££ to get him to UK but need help getting him to a match! Man U vs Brighton is our aim," he divulged.

Rashford quickly replied: "Hey man, drop me a DM. I'll sort this for you."

The response left fans in awe, with many lauding the striker as a "top man."
