Singer Simi's mom celebrates 1st wedding anniversary, pens touching note to her hubby (video)

Marriage has proven to be quite a daunting experience for some while others celebrate milestones together as a couple.

A number of people all over the world are sometimes fortunate enough to find love more than once in a life time.

Nigerian singer Simi’s mother, Jedidah Ogunleye, who is now Mrs Akinsola got married for the second time to her new found love in January 2018 at a beautiful ceremony. Family and well-wishers were also present to celebrate the special day with her.

A year later, she is still very much in love with her husband and she took to social media to celebrate him on their first wedding anniversary.

The elderly woman referred to her husband, Feyisayo, as her baby as she explained that she would always love him. See her post below:

In a subsequent post, Jedidah shared a video of when her husband went down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.

Jedidah's celebrity daughter, Simi, who also happened to be the chief bridesmaid at her wedding revealed that she is happy her mother found love again and she wished her well in her union.

Simi also recently tied the knot with talented singer, Adekunle Gold, at a private ceremony that reportedly had only 300 guests in attendance.
