Legit.ng recognised for supporting Age Reduction Bill signed by President Buhari

Legit.ng has been specially appreciated for its consistent coverage of the #NotTooYoungToRun movement in the last few months.

The #NotTooYoungToRun movement is a coalition of youth groups across the country whose advocacy led to the passage of the Age Reduction Bill by the National Assembly and the subsequent signing into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Legit.ng has been at the forefront of publicizing the good work of the movement - from advocacy visits to peaceful protests to press briefings.

The award was presented to Legit.ng at the #NotTooYoungToRun Celebration Conference on Thursday, June 26.

“This award is a demonstration of our commitment to deepening Nigeria's democracy through the participation of youths in the democratic process. Youths have a stake in the Nigerian project and must be part of her future,” Legit.ng chief editor, Bayo Olopohunda said in a statement.
