Ivory Coast international Jean Seri who currently plays for French club OGC Nice has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Arsenal who are ready to submit a bid of £35 million.

The 26-year-old midfielder was in good form last season for his club in France, and could become one of Unai Emery's first signings at the Emirates.

After announcing Unai Emery as their new coach on Wednesday, May 23, the Gunners' new boss is expected to bring in fresh legs to the club for them to challenge for honors next season.

And one of his targets is said to be Jean Seri whom he tried to sign in January 2018 when he was still in charge of Paris-Saint-Germain.

Jean Seri has an agreement written into his contract allowing him to leave Nice if a £35m offer is received according to the Daily Mail.

He is also being chased by Man United, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund.

Jean Seri began his career as a youth player with Abidjan club Africa Sports d'Abidjan in July 2007 where he played for three years before joining ASEC Mimosas.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea reportedly entered the race with rivals Manchester City and Paris-Saint-Germain for the signing of Nice star Jean Michael Seri.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has not been won over by Tiemoue Bakayoko who has not made the desired impact so far at Stamford Bridge since his switch from Monaco.
