Don't accept PDP's apology, they lied to you for 16 years - Tinubu tells Nigerians

- Nigerians have been urged not to accept the apology of he Peoples Democraic Party (PDP)

- The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu made this call while speaking at the 10th Bola Tinubu Colloquium

- Tinubu also appreciated Nigerians for heir patience with the APC

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governor of Lagos state has urged Nigerians not to accept the recent apology by the Peoples Democraic Party (PDP).

Tinubu who said this while speaking at the 10th Bola Tinubu Colloquium on Thursday, March 29 said the PDP looted the nation and wasted the country's money.

"You looted, you wasted our money. Nigerians, don't accept PDP's apology, they lied to you for 16 years," he said.

Going further, the APC leader also appreciated Nigerians for heir patience with the APC. "Thank you Nigerians for being patience with us. There is a difference between us and them - darkness and light," Tinubu said.

Legit.ng had earlier three years into his presidency, President Muhammadu Buhari finally visited Lagos in what many people termed an historic visit. The president is in Lagos on a two-day official visit on Thursday, March 29 and Friday, March 30.

President Buhari would also be attending a colloquium marking the 66th birthday of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at Victoria Island, and also be at the official flag-off ceremony for the construction of the Lekki Deep Sea Port Project in Epe and Ikeja bus terminus.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) apologised to Nigerians for the mistakes it made while governing Nigeria.

Uche Secondus, national chairman of the party, said this on Monday, March 26, at a public discourse on contemporary politics and governance in Nigeria, organized by the PDP in Abuja.
