Corps member, 5 others trapped as building collapses in Owerri, Imo state (photos)

A building opposite the Nigerian police station along Egbu road, Owerri, Imo state just collapsed leaving some people trapped in it.

It was reported that a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and five other persons were trapped as one has been rescued.

The pictures of the collapsed building went viral after a young man, Uwakwe Matins shared pictures of the incident on his Facebook profile. He added that the rescue teams are still trying to save more lives.

Looking at the pictures people can be seen standing in front of the building while the rescue team was seen carrying one of those trapped on a stretcher.
