The young woman, known on X as @TheOnlyKemi, took to the platform on April 1, 2026, to explain what her boyfriend did to surprise her.

According to her post, she decided not to ask her man for money for Easter because he had been complaining that he was broke. Because of this, she decided to handle everything herself and went to the market.

She claimed she bought foodstuffs for Sunday rice, and also fixed her hair, nails, and lashes. When she left the market, she realised she had spent about N400,000.

She had told her boyfriend how much she had spent, and he, despite his earlier claim of having no money, doubled the amount and sent it to her.

She shared the screenshot of the credit alert she received from him. The lady added that, after coming from a previous relationship in which she was always the one spending, this kind of love feels completely different.
