Breaking: Lamentation as Bauchi LG Chairman Dies, Details Below

Yakubu Garba Tela, the executive chairman of the Dambam local government area of Bauchi state, has reportedly died after a brief illness.

His death was announced by Mukhtar Gidado, the special adviser to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi on media and publicity, in a statement on Saturday, September 27.

The governor described the late council chairman as a strong community leader, a dedicated public servant and grassroots mobiliser. He was said to have devoted his time and life to the people's service and development during his time in office at the Dambam LG.
