A new cookathon hosted by Nigerian chef and former Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci has caused a stir on social media over the number of people who showed up to support her.

Legit.ng recalls reporting that Hilda Baci commenced her attempt to cook the biggest pot of Nigerian Jollof rice ever, set to commemorate World Jollof Day on Friday, September 12.

Hilda, who will be cooking 250 bags of raw rice to make the biggest pot of Nigerian Jollof, went live to show the world.

Recall that Legit.ng reported Pastor Bolaji of Harvester’s Church was spotted praying for her before she began, while one of her male friends, Enioluwa, was also seen giving her flowers.
