A Twitter user CBN Gov Akinsola Ak with the handle @cbngov_akin1 has released a list of silent achievements of Nigeria's VP Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) in the last 5 years.
The social media strategist and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign team listed the vice president's involvement in technology as well as chairing the Economic Sustainability Plan as some of Osinbajo's top achievements.
Osinabjo was elected into office on the platform of the APC as President Muhammadu Buhari's running mate back in 2015.

Below are the top 10 achievements of Osinbajo:
1. Osinabjo’s involvement in tech
Google Inc plans to establish its first Google Launchpad Space outside the United States in Lagos.
Facebook announced its decision to open an office in Lagos as part of its planned expansion in Sub-Saharan Africa.
HUAWEI will position Nigeria as a technology centre for the African continent and give more jobs to young Nigerians.
2. #EndSars Protest
The vice president influenced President Buhari to dissolve SARS as a unit of the Police Force. He also brought about the idea of judicial panels in all states of the federation to deal with cases of police brutality.
3. Economic Sustainability Plan
With Osinbajo chairing the Economic Sustainability Plan, many Nigerians have benefited from the various tracks such as Payroll Support Track, Artisan Track, Formalization Support Track and Rapid Response Register.
4. MSMEs
MSME clinics have been held in 26 states across the country including the FCT. Over 400,000 MSMEs have so far participated in the clinics.
About 300,000 new business names have been registered by the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) at a reduced 50% price of N5000, down from the normal N10,000.
5. Social Investment Programmes (under the VP’s Office)
The homegrown school feeding programme in 35 states is feeding 9.9 million children and more than 107,000 cooks have been engaged.
Over 500,000 graduates have also benefitted from the N-Power scheme.
6. Rule of law
The vice president has always stood for the rule of law and in the interest of all Nigerians, regardless of ethnicity.
Osinbajo then as acting president fired the former DG, SSS when he violated the sanctity of the National Assembly and the Nigerian constitution.
7. Ease of doing business
Inauguration of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council and the Enabling Business Environment Secretariat (EBES).
This has resulted in Nigeria moving up 39 places on the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business rankings since 2016. In the last 3 years, Nigeria has twice been adjudged one of 10 Most Improved Economies.
8. Saved the APC from litigation
He did this by suggesting ruling party EXCO members become caretakers.

Earlier, Osinbajo said that the Buhari administration’s vision to lift at least 20 million Nigerians out of poverty in the next two years is now close at hand.
Professor Osinbajo stated this on Tuesday, January 19, in Abuja during the virtual flag-off of a cash transfer scheme initiated by the federal government, adding that the programme will help the government achieve its aspiration.
