Joao Felix says he wishes to play alongside Ronaldo at club level

Joao Felix has admitted that he would love to play alongside fellow Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo at club level.

The 2019 Golden Boy winner is one of the biggest prospects in European football and he has proven the stuff he is made of since his summer move to Atletico Madrid.

Both players who currently play together in Portugal and have also met at club level in pre-season and the prestigious Champions League competition.

Felix was asked if he would love to play in the same club with Ronaldo: “You never know, but playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at club level, as well as with the national team, is something which definitely does appeal.

“I'd love to play alongside Cristiano at a club, he's a legend,” Felix told Tuttosport

But the 20-year-old has said he is focusing on his career at the Wanda Metrolitano with Atletico.

Felix has already scored four goals this season as Atletico remain in contention for La Liga and the youngster will be looking forward for their last 16 clash with Liverpool in the Champions League.
