Pam Brown Courtney, a black woman has built a 51-home community at Arkansas in the US. Courtney took the bold step after she was mistreated in a community where she had been residing at Little Rock, which is also in Arkansas.
Blackenterprise reports that the passionate lady is a real estate developer and investor who has been making moves in the Arkansas real estate market.
Courtney owns an enterprise called the Pam Brown Courtney Inc which runs a multimillion-dollar real estate portfolio and real estate consulting business.
The journey to building an entire community started as the hardworking lady was once on a duty to survey a beautiful community in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Courtney was blown away completely by what she saw as the place was extremely beautiful.
Her joy was shortlived according to her, as she soon came to realise the people living in the community were not very nice to her. The beauty of the community in Little Rock, Arkansas still left a print on Courtney's mind.
Soon after, she decided that she was going to put up her own beautiful place where she would be nice to the people around and they would be nice to her.
According to Pam Brown Courtney, she had to seek guidance on how she was going to go about it, but for the 'Universal God' to direct her.
She said she told God she needed it and did not know what to do to bring her dream into fruition. Fast forward, her community gets born and classily named the Covenant Cove Community.
The name seems to suggest that the brilliant hardworking lady had a covenant with God which has been fulfilled.
A number of black women have been in the news for stupendous achievements in recent times.
Meanwhile, a Nigerian lady has taken to social media to cry out after her landlord increased the house rent by over a hundred per cent.
As the standard of living in Nigeria continues to depreciate at a disturbing level, more people are finding it difficult to get by and as is the case with this story, landlords aren't making it easier on them either. A Twitter user identified as Nneka who lives in a rented apartment in Bariga, Lagos, recently took to the micro-blogging platform to cry out after she received a letter from her landlord's lawyer notifying her of the rent increment from N550,000 to N1,000,000.
