American boxer, Gervonta Davis, has lost jewellery worth £5million following a reported robbery at his California home.

Davis claims the precious valuables were stolen just two hours after flaunting them on his Instagram account.

SunSport reports the boxer shared a footage of the jewellery with his followers on social media before the sudden twist of events.

The super featherweight would later return online to plead with his 1.8 million followers to help find the items.

"Yo somebody broke into my house here in Cali and stole my jewelry. If somebody try to sell it let me know," he urged.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old's boxing career has been on an upward trajectory, and is yet to be defeated in 22 pro fights with 21 KOs.

He is understood to be a protege of Floyd "Money" Mayweather and has a net worth of around £2 million.
