Aremu Afolayan throws shade at brothers as he shares his life story to mark his birthday

- One of the famous Afolayan brothers, Aremu, recently clocked a new age

- To celebrate his birthday, he shared an emotional post in which he narrated his bitter childhood experiences

- The Nollywood actor also seized his opportunity to shade his brothers

Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan celebrated his birthday recently. The veteran act shared a post on his Instagram page to mark his big day. In the post, he wrote a lengthy caption in which he thanked all those who have contributed to his success.

He thanked his mother, friends and singer Tope Alabi for their support and love. One would expect him to also mention his celebrity brothers, one of which is famous Nollywood director Kunle Afolayan. But he did not.

Instead, he subtly shaded some people he referred to as scammers who used him. He said: "Thanks to all the scammers in my life and the ones who have use me. We all do things to have food on the table so I dnt blame you."

Aremu also opened up about the bitter experiences he had during his childhood years. According to him, he used to live with call girls and sell pepper soup for his mother. Then, he also lived in a house built with planks.

The Nollywood actor also narrated how he once took his mother's little money so as to feed other poor kids.

According to him, his mom beat him severely for doing this but she also praised him. For loving him unconditionally through out their years of poverty, Aremu thanked his mother profusely.

Recently, Aremu's brother Kunle Afolayan premiered his new movie Mokalik. Aremu was, however, absent from the premiere. When asked the reason for his absence, he said that he was not invited.
