Legit.ng gathers that Udeagulu also pointed out that the university is one of the few to offer training in aerospace and aviation-related courses up to postgraduate level; a situation which gives it a unique position in Nigeria’s educational landscape.

The commandant expressed his desire to see the university rated among the first ten in Nigeria and Africa at large.

According to Udeagulu, his vision is “to transform AFIT into a world class institution and first choice for the study of aerospace and defence engineering”.

The university’s convocation ceremony is scheduled for Friday, July 27.
