Borussia Dortmund have continued to cash in on Ousmane Dembele three years after selling him to Barcelona in a deal valued around £96 million.

The Bundesliga giants inserted various clauses into the Frenchman's contract before allowing him to join the Catalans in 2017.

Reports reveal that part of the add-ons will see his fee rise to £136m eventually while others will be activated by both individual and club successes.

The Camp Nou outfit was said to have agreed to pay Dortmund £4.4m each time Dembele achieve some certain feats for them.

These milestones include his 25th, 50th, 75th and 100th competitive outing for Barcelona and they are now eyeing the third instalment of their windfall having already played 57 La Liga games.

He has equally made 18 appearances in the Champions League, seven times in the Cup and once in the Super Cup as reported by Daily Mail.

And this means the Frenchman has played 83 games for Barce in all competitions since he joined them a few years back.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, Arsenal and a few other top European clubs are monitoring the player whose contract with the Catalans expires in the summer of 2022.

Reports claim his future at the Nou Camp remains uncertain having fallen down the pecking order under Dutch manager Ronald Koeman. He has only started four games this season.

With £368m release clause inserted into his contract at Barcelona, the 2018 World Cup winner might walk out of the club for free.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Barcelona have denied making contact with Manchester United over the transfer of Ousmane Dembele this transfer window.

The Catalan club added that the 23-year-old World Cup winner is not going anywhere for now according to the club's sporting director Ramon Planes.

Dembele was earlier linked with a move away from the Nou Camp with Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool all interested in the player.
