VDM: Man Shares 3 Steps Blord Should Have Taken in Court Which Would Have Prevented His Remand
- A Nigerian man has absolved VeryDarkMan of being responsible for sending Blord to prison, attributing the businessman's remand to his ego
- He highlighted three moves that Blord should have made at the Federal High Court in Abuja, which could have averted his remand at the Kuje Correctional Centre
- He expressed concern about the Nigerian government hijacking Blord's court case, noting that the Anambra-born entrepreneur might not be freed anytime soon if that happens
Richard Chibo, a Nigerian man, has faulted businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, for being the architect of his own remand in the Kuje Correctional Centre.
According to Richard, content creator Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, is not to be blamed.

Man suggests what Blord should have done
Richard, in a Facebook post, opined that Blord's ego sent him to prison, adding that he should have just pleaded guilty after seeing all the charges presented against him.

After pleading guilty, he explained that Blord should have then tendered an apology and paid for damages.
While it might give VeryDarkMan the bragging rights, Richard believes it would have prevented Blord from being remanded in prison and allowed him to return to his family and focus on his business.
"What sent BLord to prison was simply his ego, nothing else, not even VDM. After seeing all the evidence/charges against him, he should have pleaded guilty, tendered an apology, and paid for the damages. VDM will feel like the bigger man, come on social media to brag about it to feed his ego, but he will let it go.
"It likely wouldn’t have cost him much, and he could have gone home to be with his family, focused on his business, and stayed away from social media fights..." he wrote.
Richard expressed fear that Blord might not be out anytime soon should the government take an interest in his case and get involved.

"We should pray that the government did not hijack this whole thing. If they did, that guy isn’t coming out anytime soon. Even VDM himself would struggle to fight for his release and still can't do anything.
"Do you think the EFCC is happy with his constant bragging about defeating them in court? Do you think the City Boys Movement is happy with him? None of his tribesmen can come to his rescue, because those ones are already busy fighting to save their own necks.
"In fact, I strongly believe that Omoyele Sowore must have seen the direction this would eventually go before making that comment. The problem I had with his approach was that, since VDM is his ally and part of his camp, he should have reached out to him privately first, had a discussion with his lawyer, Marshall, and only then shared the outcome publicly.
"King Solomon knew why he asked God for wisdom instead of wealth. Wealth comes and goes, power fades, but wisdom guides every decision, protects you from disaster," Richard wrote.

"Having read your write up thoroughly, I discovered you're a honest man not driven by emotions. Blord was wrong so he needs to admit it and tender apology, if not he may face the full wrath of the law."
