@askiaz__ said:No this is so tragic… the insecurity in Abuja is beyond control now, and Wike who is a minister is not doing anything but making leadership tough for sim Fubara. My condolences."

@A_Baby_Boi noted:

"This is just horrible. May her soul rest in peace and may the Almighty give his comfort to her family. But really, this level of insecurity is no way to live and definitely not how a young Nigerian to die. Just so so sad."

@NejeebBello stated:

"Nigerian journalists are reporting the gruesome assassination of their colleague as "tragic death during a robbery", instead of calling it premeditated and targeted murder of a prominent news reporter. Arise TV says, "Sommie tragically passed away" for a staff killed by 15 men!"

"Something doesn’t add up. This looks and sounds like she was assasinated and people somewhere know what really happened to her. Surviving in Nigeria has now become an extreme sport. The insecurity is at an all time high. RIP."

"The sad part is that, if this country doesn't get better, then this whole thing just got started. Armed robbery and kidnapping cases would progressively get worse than this. And, of course, our leaders don't care! Their children don't live here...and for them? They have loads of security personnel already guarding them."

@PeterObiUS Anoted:

"My God! What sort of a country is this? In her residence in Abuja FCT? Who is safe? Where is safe? How can this happen like that? Such a young promising woman lost .Heart broken by this disaster.. can’t imagine the pain of her family and friends. RIP to her."

@saamu_of_ibadan stated:

"No where in Abuja is safe, I also was robbed at gun point at home in Zuba on the 3rd of this same month. There's no presence of any security personnel in the entire community. The robbery was carried out continuously for a whole week and nobody came to our rescue. Rip."
