Nigerian Man Shuns 'NEPA', Installs Powerful Solar Electricity That Powers Everything in His House

  • A Nigerian man became the one generating his electricity after installing a powerful solar system in his house
  • The man said he relocated to a new location, and needed a solar set up that could give him 24/7 electricity
  • He installed a solar electricity that can power five ACs, three water heaters, an electric oven, an induction cooker, a microwave, and freezers

A man is happy to no longer rely entirely on public power after installing solar for his home.

The man shunned grid electricity and turned to solar. He came online to share details of the journey and how it was installed for him.

He said the solar set up is meant to power all the electronic devices in his house.

He said:

"More on this project. It is meant to power my new location which lead to an increased energy needs - 5 AC, 3 water Heaters, an electric oven, an induction cooker, Microwave, freezers - whole shebang -All of powered from Solar. I will be sharing this journey from start to finish.
"The goal of sharing all these is to showcase how much renewable energy tech and capabilities have improved and share what a well-planned and executed off-grid solar project look like."

He said his house is on Band A and the public electricity helps to charge the solar batteries on days when there is low sunshine.

His words:

"Ironically, this new setup is the first time connected to the grid since 2018. House is on Band A but system is automated to pull limited grid power only on low-sun days. Inverters handle grid+solar blending natively, so load is powered seamlessly & less pressure on the battery."
