GUS: 2 Ladies and 3 Men Emerge Top 5, Battle for N50m Grand Prize As Yankari and Esitima Get Evicted

  • The 12th season of the Gulder Ultimate Search tagged The Age of Craftsmanship kicked off on Sunday, October 16, and it is gradually coming to an end
  • Out of over 20,000 contestants that applied, 18 made it into the jungle and with the recent eviction of two contestants, the final five have emerged

As the Gulder Ultimate Search Season 12, The Age of Craftsmanship draws to an end, only one ultimate warrior will emerge victorious from the 18 warriors who made it to the Jungle out of over 20,000 Nigerians who applied.

It was end of road for Solomon Illiya Yankari and Esitima Francis Edem, as they became the 12th and 13th contestants to be evicted from the 2021 Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS).

The fitness instructor and personal trainer was sent packing from the survival reality show on Saturday 4th December, while the model, caterer and non-governmental organisation (NGO) operator followed on Sunday night.

The exit of the two contestants has given rise to the top five contestants two ladies and three guys, who will battle for the ultimate prize of N50m.

The top five contestants for the ‘Gulder Ultimate Search: Age Of Craftsmanship’ are Odedina Damilola, Rachael Omokhafe Bello, Odudu Ime Otu, Chidinma Okeibe, and Damola Johnson.

Winner takes all

A whooping sum of N50m is the total worth of prize in cash that the GUS season 12 winner gets to take home, but the breakdown is as follows:

N20m in cash, the rest of the N30m will presumably cover a brand new Innoson HG5T SUV, and a return ticket to Dubai.

Ex-GUS contestant Olayinka shares experience

Olayinka Omoya Gabriel was evicted three weeks into the show and he shared his experience, expectation, and prediction.

The Bowen graduate who literally went for the show almost after leaving university mentioned that even though he did not win, making it to the show was a win for him.

The young man disclosed that he thought they would be taken to a hotel after their tasks in the jungle but he was shocked to see that they had to sleep in the jungle despite the possible hazards.
