1. C-3PO is played by an actual human

It is hard to imagine a person walking around in a metallic costume. However, Anthony Daniels acts clad in the metallic outfit. Since the actor could not sit down while wearing the suit, producers had to build it around him after he sat for every scene in which C-3PO is seated. This explains why you can barely see the character’s bottom half when he is seated.

2. The wind noise in some scenes is extreme

In one of the scenes where Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker are fighting, the background wind noise was so loud that the actors had to rely on visual cues to know when to respond to one another. Wind machines were often used on set to create amazing sound effects.

3. From blue milk to green milk

Before The Last Jedi, actors were often seen drinking some blue liquid. That turned out to be long-life milk with some food-grade coloring added to it. However, the drink later changed to ‘green milk,’ which was just standard coconut water. The green color was added in post-production. 4. George Lucas relied on Akira Kurosawa for storytelling

Lucas had a problem telling the entire story on a relatable and personal scale. He found the solution in the 1958 film The Hidden Fortress by Akira Kurosawa. The Hidden Fortress tells the story of a rogue general who tries to protect a princess from a group of evil people. The franchise’s connection with Akira gives rise to one of the hardest Star Wars questions.

5. Star Wars movies were initially supposed to have extreme casts

George Lucas had toyed with the idea of having an entirely African-American cast or Japanese cast. He explains that these ideas were partially influenced by the cast of the hugely popular Lord of the Rings trilogy.

6. Lightsabers excite most of the actors

While shooting a scene in The Phantom Menace, actor Ewan McGregor would keep on imitating the sounds made by the lightsaber. Lucas would continuously remind him that the weapon’s sound effects would be added in post-production. Apparently, Ewan was not the only actor affected by the lightsaber fascination. 7. R2-D2 was once an English-speaking droid

The beloved droid we now know only speaks in whistles and beeps. However, in the original draft, R2-D2 was an annoying English-speaking droid that would occasionally insult C-3PO. This is one of the trickiest questions in a Star Wars test since that part of the original draft was quickly discarded.
