Mustapha reiterated that contrary to the reports, Governor El-Rufai did not institute a recent suit seeking to bar the EFCC from investigating or prosecuting him.

The senior lawyer emphasised that what Governor El-Rufai wast to get justice from the court and protected his reputation against those peddling injurious and malicious falsehood.
