Manchester City midfielder David Silva has disclosed he will leave Etihad Stadium at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

According to the BBC report, the 33-year-old Silva, who featured 33 games in the English topflight last term, netted six times as Man City won the title back-to-back.

At the last count, the Spaniard has enjoyed a trophy-laden career at City, featuring 395 times enroute to winning four Premier League titles, the FA Cup twice and the League Cup four times since joining the club in 2010.

Responding to a question on how long he will be staying at City, Silva, who arrived Etihad in 2010, stressed he will quit the club next season.

"No, this is the last one,” Silva said, even as he was quick to add.

"Ten years for me is enough. It's the perfect time for me.

"Initially, City were talking about two years, but I decided to sign [for] another one, so I finished at 10 years.

"It completes the cycle. It's a nice round figure. I can never see myself playing against City for another team. So 10 years - that's it,” he summed up.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Manchester City have completed the signing of Nigerian wonder-kid Samuel Edozie from lower league side Millwall.

The Citizens were said to have beaten EPL rival Chelsea to the signing of the 16-year-old youngster in a deal valued around £600,000, but could rise to about £2 million with ad ons.

According to SunSport, the winger will feature for City's academy next season before considering a loan move for the player.
