Beverly Ada Mary Osu was born on September 27, 1992, in Lagos state, Nigeria, and hails from Delta state. She began her education at the Daughters of Divine Love Convent in Enugu state. Initially aspiring to become a Reverend sister, Osu later shifted her focus to mass communication. She enrolled at Babcock University but eventually transferred to the National Open University of Nigeria, where she completed her degree in mass communication.
Rise to fame: Big Brother Africa.
Osu gained widespread recognition in 2013 when she represented Nigeria in Season 8 of Big Brother Africa, known as "The Chase." She made history by becoming the only contestant in the show's history not to be nominated for eviction throughout the season. Osu spent 91 days in the house and finished in fifth place.
Modelling and video vixen career
Before her stint on Big Brother Africa, Osu had established herself in the Nigerian entertainment industry as a model. In 2011, she won the Model of the Year award at the Dynamix All Youth Awards. She also made a name for herself as a video vixen, appearing in music videos for prominent Nigerian artists, including Ice Prince's "Oleku," Terry da Rapman's "Boys Are Not Smiling," Djinee's "Over Killing," and Kizz Daniel's "Madu."
Acting career
Osu transitioned into acting in 2014, debuting in the film "Curse of the Seven" alongside Nollywood actor Ken Erics. She has since appeared in various films, such as "Chief Daddy" (2018), "Your Excellency" (2019), "Òlòtūré" (2019), and "Palava" (2022). In "Òlòtūré," a Netflix-distributed Nigerian crime drama, Osu played a supporting role in a story centred on human trafficking.
