Dressed in his Galatasaray training kit, Osimhen jokingly asked Gokbakar, “You gonna give me a role in your movies?” to which the comedian replied, “Of course.”

This playful exchange sparked excitement among fans, with many teasing that the Super Eagles star could make a cameo in the upcoming eighth instalment of Gokbakar’s comedy hit.

Osimhen expands profile beyond football

While Osimhen is fully focused on helping Galatasaray defend their Super Lig title, his growing fame is creating opportunities beyond football.

The 26-year-old forward has already tested his acting skills in the past, having featured in the commercial film Drawing, Punch reports.

This, coupled with his engaging personality, has made fans even more excited about the possibility of seeing him in a comedy role.

On the pitch, Osimhen made his first appearance of the new season in Galatasaray’s 3-0 victory over Fatih Karagumruk at Rams Park.

Coming on as a second-half substitute, Osimhen could not find the back of the net, but his presence was enough to help the team secure all three points.

The win ensured Galatasaray maintained their perfect start to the campaign and climbed to the top of the league table.

As last season’s top scorer, expectations remain high for Osimhen to lead the champions’ attack and deliver goals when it matters most.
