Super Falcons winger Francisca Ordega has applauded the people of Benue State for their support during the 13th Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The 31-year-old played only one match during the group stage of the tournament against Algeria, where Nigeria won their 10th title.

The former Rivers Angels star missed the final against Morocco after suffering an injury during the training ahead of their semifinal clash against South Africa.
Ordega played against Portugal in an international friendly, which ended 0-0, with the winger making a meaningful contribution, per NFF.
Ordega lauds Benue State Government
Super Falcons star Francisca Ordega has hailed Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia for recognising her following her role in Nigeria's victory at the 13th WAFCON.
In a post on Facebook, the former CSKA Moscow said the recognition is a collective effort of those who supported her during her journey to greatness in football.
The 31-year-old revealed that she is inspired by the growth and development in the state under the current Governor. She said:
"I write to express my heartfelt gratitude for the honour bestowed upon me by the Benue State Government. Receiving this recognition is not only a personal achievement but also a testament to the collective efforts of my family, friends, colleagues and fans who have supported me throughout my journey.
"I am deeply humbled by this acknowledgement and inspired to continue contributing to the growth and development of our beloved state. This honour serves as a reminder of the responsibilities we all share in fostering progress and unity within our community."
The governor presented her with a ₦50 million cash prize and a fully furnished three-bedroom apartment in the state capital.
According to Vanguard, Governor Alia also announced that a street in Makurdi would be named after the five-time WAFCON winner.
