Victor Osimhen Generates Huge Amount for Galatasaray One Week After Permanent Transfer
- Galatasaray have generated huge revenue from 20,000 pre-orders of Victor Osimhen’s “Solo Il Gala” collector’s boxes
- The club earlier earned a staggering €431,000 by streaming the player's arrival flight from Germany to Istanbul
- These efforts help the club to build on last season’s €85 million shirt sales, and aim to support the striker's €15 million annual salary
Turkish club Galatasaray have continued to rake in the cash following the placement of Victor Osimhen's exclusive collector boxes.
Priced at 9,999 Turkish Lira (approximately €210) each, the boxes have raked in roughly 200 million Turkish Lira (around €4.2 million) in revenue, from 20,000 pre-orders within just days of their launch.
This reflects the extraordinary excitement surrounding the 26-year-old Nigerian striker’s €75 million transfer from Napoli to the Turkish champions.

The “Solo Il Gala” collector’s boxes, produced entirely with the club’s own resources, are sold through the club's GS Store platform.
Profits flow directly into the club’s coffers, bolstering their financial strategy following their significant investment in the Nigerian international.
Inside Osimhen's Solo Il Gala boxes
Each box is designed to celebrate Osimhen’s second stint with Galatasaray, and it contains three exclusive items.
Inside it is a specially crafted jersey with a unique serial number and a QR code on the tag granting access to exclusive digital content, surprise messages, and platforms chronicling this pivotal moment in the club’s history.
Also inside is a high-quality elastomer Osimhen mask featuring an adjustable strap and five stars printed on the front, and a commemorative scarf adorned with “Solo Il Gala” details.
The jerseys are said to carry a personal touch from the striker himself, with a heartfelt message included in each box, per Afrik Foot:
"This jersey in the box is not my jersey, it is all of ours. Every time you wear it, remember our history, remember us."
This initiative was launched in August with an initial plan of 100,000 boxes, aiming to generate up to €21.5 million if fully sold out.
Galatasaray hope the figure can potentially cover a significant portion of the player's €15 m-per-season salary.
How Galatasaray generated funds from Osimhen's trip
Meanwhile, a Turkish football commentator disclosed the revenue Galatasaray earned by streaming Victor Osimhen’s flight from Germany to Istanbul, capitalising on the excitement surrounding the Nigerian striker’s arrival.
The Turkish champions broadcast the event exclusively on their GS Plus App and Galatasaray TV’s YouTube channel, attracting over two million live viewers and gaining 50,000 new YouTube subscribers, according to Ajans 1905.

The club reportedly generated approximately €431,000 from the stream on its first day, a substantial boost to their fundraising efforts.
Galatasaray have set up other activities to leverage on the payer's arrival and target an estimated €5 million in revenue.
