2027 Elections: Islamic Scholars Kill Ram To Offer Prayers for Tinubu-Barau’s Victory

Kano state - A group under the aegis of the Tinubu/Barau/Atah Movement organised a special prayer session for the success of President Bola Tinubu and Senator Barau Jibrin ahead of the 2027 election in Kano state.
The prayer for Tinubu/Barau/Atah Movement was held at Gidan Baballiya Kurna in Fagge Local Government Area on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

The prayer session was attended by Ulamas and supporters of the All Progressives Congress from the 44 local government areas of the state.
As reported by The Punch, the Islamic leaders offered special prayers for Tinubu’s second-term bid as well as Barau’s governorship ambition in 2027.
The group killed a ram after the prayer as a sacrifice for Tinubu and Barau’s victory in 2027.
While speaking with newsmen, the leader of the Ulamas, Saminu Khalid Abdullahi, said the movement is to rally citizens and to strengthen goodwill for Tinubu, Barua, and Atah ahead of the 2027 elections.
“Tinubu/Barau/Atah (TBA) Movement is a new support group established with the objective of mobilizing grassroots support for President Tinubu, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, and the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Yusuf Atah.”
One of the organisers of the session, Seyi Olorunshaya, said it was conducted to support Tinubu’s re-election and Senator Barau Jibrin’s bid to become governor of Kano State.

Only two things can stop Tinubu in 2027
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Ali Modu Sheriff, the former governor of Borno state, said that President Tinubu winning the 2027 election is non-negotiable.
He said the president will not be re-elected in 2027, only if there is no election in 2027 or if he decides to step down from the race.
Sheriff said as long as President Tinubu contests the election, he would be declared the winner.
