He said:

"Omoyele Sowore is a man I respect so much (though I don't always agree with him), but he is a man of courage who has devoted his life to fighting perceived injustice and oppression. However, he must know when to draw the line."

On his Facebook page, Paul Ojukwu Okoro mentioned some things he believes Blord did that led to his arrest.

His statement:

"Activism does not mean shielding an offender at all costs. He should know that VDM is not an offender in this case, nor an oppressor. The billionaire was reckless and intoxicated with his impunity."
"I'm not sure he bothered to call him to order when he was busy impersonating and falsifying documents. I'm not sure he would applaud anyone who does the same to his Sahara Reporters brand, which he has laboured to build over the years."

The lawyer, Paul Ojukwu Okoro, advised:

"Rather than trying to bully VDM and his lawyer, he can engage a lawyer to represent the billionaire in court and possibly seek an amicable settlement between them. What is wrong is wrong no matter who is involved. He should call a spade a spade rather than making it look as if the billionaire is the victim."

Reactions as lawyer speaks about Sowore, Blord

Victor Godwin said:

"Well said without an iota of sentiment let's call wrong doings with it's real name not sentimental judgement."

"The only person that can save blord now is ordinary president. But he will not engage."

Chidi Okechukwu explained:

"Why will vdm call him criminal without any concrete evidence just to tarnished his business. You self check am as a lawyer. All this issues should have been avoided if and only if vdm kept his mouth shut. Or go direct to court to prove Blord is a criminal. wrote: Lawyer listen to me, there is no premises with out conclusion. Hence it's two fighting. Nothing less, nothing more."

Adegbehin Akinyele noted:

"What even baffles me is he posted that he has reached out to his lawyer that happens to be the one who handled the case to discontinue from the case but why is it a big deal for him to just put a call through to VDM and discuss how the case would be resolved, but instead he said he's going to do everything to make sure that blord is released without delay all I just see is intimidation."
