Ibom Air: Comfort Emmanson's Father Breaks Silence on Viral Incident, Demands Compensation

Comfort Emmanson's father has expressed displeasure over how his daughter was treated by the airport crew members on Sunday, August 10.
Comfort was dragged off an Ibom Air plane, charged in court, and remanded in the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, Lagos, for slapping an air hostess. She was released on Wednesday.

What Comfort Emmanson's father said
When interviewed about the incident, Comfort's father, in a video shared on Facebook by Amanda Chisom, said he does not know why things panned out that way for his daughter.
He wondered if it was because he is not well-to-do. Comfort's father said his family's image was tarnished as his daughter was stripped naked, despite not having stolen anything.
He demanded compensation for what had happened. His statement partly read:
“I don’t know why it would have happened that way. Is it because I don’t have money? I don’t know how these people are going to pay my bills. They just rubbished us. They tarnished our image. I’m not feeling myself and I don’t feel like eating anything. They strip my child naked, and she didn’t steal. Compensation must be paid….”

Comfort Emmanson: Governor's aide clarifies N500k offer
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Delta governor's aide had clarified his N500k job offer and the luxury trip he promised Comfort Emmanson.
Recall that on Wednesday, August 13, Success announced a package for Emmanson, after she regained her freedom following her detention in the Kirikiri Correction Centre in Lagos.
The governor’s aide had also promised to bankroll an all-expenses-paid trip to the state, including flight tickets, a five-star hotel stay, guided tours, and a ticket to the Delta Social Media Summit slated for Thursday, August 28, in Asaba.
