Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck issued a blunt warning to upcoming artists, saying Lagos might not be the dream city they imagine.
The Abuja-based musician took to his X handle to describe Nigeria's most populated city as “the worst place for a young artist to grow,”.
He insisted that the city’s music culture turns people into “greedy, selfish, and self-centered packaged beasts.”

For Odumodublvck, his journey to fame was shaped by his upbringing in Abuja, a place he stated allowed him to grow without the cutthroat competition and self-interest he believes defines Lagos.
He wrote:
“That’s why it was easy to run through the industry as The Machine wey I be. I too real for una.”
His confidence, he suggests, comes from staying grounded outside the pressure cooker that is Lagos.
Legit.ng recalls that the rapper recently made a stunning revelation about Mavin star Rema in a newly surfaced interview.
Odumodublvck claimed that Rema gifted him N40 million to shoot the music video for his track "Pity This Boy", despite industry warnings that he shouldn’t release his song on the same day as the "Calm Down" hitmaker.

In the clip, which surfaced online on Monday, the “Declan Rice” crooner is seen confronting Wavestar at a recent event, expressing his displeasure over the latter’s failure to greet him.
