Popular Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has shared the funny conversation he had with his landlord over his rent.

Blaqbonez had initially taken to social media to brag about his success and how his landlord needs to double his rent.

According to the music star, he feels he is winning too much to stay on the same rent and his landlord should increase the fee.

Blaqbonez’s landlord heeds request

In reaction to his viral video, Blaqbonez’s landlord then reached out to him to confirm and heed his request.

In a chat the rapper had with his landlord that was later posted online, the owner of the property explained that based on the music star’s demand for him to increase the rent, he had chosen to accept it.

Blaqbonez later responded to his landlord’s message and blamed his outburst in the viral video on alcohol.

Blaqbonez flaunts new mansion, shows old house he moved from

The fast-rising Nigerian rapper recently took to social media to share a video of the houses where he used to live before he became an island boy.

It’s safe to say that Blaqbonez shared his grass to grace story, from his childhood home to renting his first apartment and now living on the island.

In a post on his Instagram page, he visited five houses he had stayed in over the course of his life, from the two he had most of his childhood in the Ijesha and Magodo area of Lagos state, to his first paid apartment at Okota.
