- Rapper Lil Baby criticised jeweller Rafaello and Co. after believing they duped him in his watch purchase
- The rapper shared a clip showing off four rings on his fingers, which were given as compensation for the "mistake"
- The jeweller denied awareness about the watch being fake, claiming they did not do due diligence
US rapper Lil Baby, born Dominique Armani Jones, has called out a celebrity jeweller for selling him a fake watch instead of its original.
The musician exposed New York City jeweller Rafaello and Co. after selling him a fake Patek Phillippe watch for over N160m.
Baby shared a short video on his Instagram showing off four blinged-out rings and a nice watch with diamonds all over it.
It was not clear if the watch was the said fake one, but what was clear is that the rings on his fingers were given to him as compensation from the jeweller.

In his caption, Baby blasted the company, saying they know better than to sell him, of all people, a fake watch.
He urged them to stand by their name and stop claiming it was a mistake, warning them not to "play with" him.
Jeweller calls it a mistake
The rapper's warning came after Rafaello and Co. went on their social media to explain themselves, admitting to selling Baby the watch but also calling it a mistake.
They said they gave him the four rings for free and returned his money, adding they did not do their homework on the piece and take full responsibility.
According to Page Six, Baby learnt about the watch being fake after a jewellery verification page on Instagram exposed it.
Drake gifts Lil Baby watch
Lil Baby, just like any other rapper, is a lover of bling and nothing shouts "money" than a blinged-out wristwatch.
A few months back, the young entertainer was delighted after receiving a gift from fellow rapper Drake, who he clearly respects as a godfather in the game.
Going on his Instagram, Baby shared a picture of a custom Chrome Hearts Rolex that was in silver.
In a captioned message on the post, Baby tagged Drake's Instagram account while sending him a message saying, "Thank you."
Drake must have thought that the raper deserves a reward after taking home the Best Male Hip Hop Artiste of the year at the recently concluded BET Awards.
