A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member has celebrated a new milestone by breaking a family record of being the first to finish service.
The corps member, identified as Elizabeth Oluwafoyinsayemi Adegboye, took to her Facebook page to celebrate such a feat.

NYSC lady breaks family record with milestone
In a post that had gone viral, the NYSC lady went down her academic journey from being a technical graduate to being the first in her family to be a corper.
According to her, she gained admission into a National Diploma in 2014, and became a Higher National Diploma (HND) holder in 2023.

She then started her mandatory service year in 2025 and finished it a year later (2026). This was a huge milestone for her among her family, which she identified as the Adegboye family.

She remained grateful and appreciative to God while talking about how she did not give up on herself.
Sharing lovely photos of herself in her NYSC khaki uniform, she wrote:

2025 — NYSC completed ✔️
First corper in the Adegboye family 💚🤍
A cycle broken.
A promise fulfilled.
A testimony standing.

Corper posted to same placement with mother
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that a corps member who recently had his passing out parade (POP) has celebrated his service year by releasing a heartwarming NYSC photoshoot taken with his mother.
Speaking on the possible inspiration behind the NYSC photoshoot, the young man revealed that he was not only deployed to the same state where his mum served in years ago but also the same LGA she was redeployed to.
