A passenger, Tunde A. Ibrahim, who was also on the Ibom Air flight with Comfort Emmanson, the viral lady who assaulted the airline's crew member and has been remanded in the Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison in Lagos, has shed light on what transpired.
She was also placed on a lifetime ban by the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON). Tunde said it was an Ibom Air crew member who prevented Comfort from alighting from the aeroplane.

Tunde, who gave his account in the comment section of a yet-to-be-identified Facebook post, narrated that Comfort had told the airline's crew that her phone was already on flight mode.
However, they refused to allow her to leave, saying the airport security had been contacted to pick her up.
The male passenger added that Comfort was even pushed to the back, allowing other passengers to alight. He wrote:
"I was on board.
"It was the crew member that resisted the lady from coming down because of put off phone and no put off phone.
"The lady told the crew that her phone was already on flight mode.
"After landing, they refused to allow the lady from coming down, saying they have called the airport security to pick her up.
"Infact they pushed the late back on seat for many of us to pass."

Lawyer backs embattled Ibom Air passenger
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported why the embattled Ibom Air passenger would win the airline in court.
He noted that the passenger could demand hundreds of millions in compensation, given how she was treated, including the posting of her private parts online.
The legal practitioner stressed that the law frowns on unwanted physical contact, especially in a forceful removal, especially by unauthorised persons.
