Veteran Nollywood actress Abeni Fausat Balogun, widely known as Madam Saje, has spoken out on the ongoing dispute between Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
Legit.ng reported that the matter drew attention after Toyin Abraham was snubbed by Funke Akindele at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere on Sunday, 29 March, despite greeting her respectfully.

A viral clip showed Toyin slightly kneeling to greet Funke, who was seated with Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe, but she was ignored, leaving her embarrassed.
The incident led Toyin Abraham to unfollow Funke Akindele on Instagram, vowing never to greet her again, and Funke responded by unfollowing Toyin as well.
Madam Saje revealed in a video posted on her Instagram page on April 1 that she has stepped in to calm the situation.
She explained that she reached out to the three actresses, Iyabo Ojo, Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, and advised them to stop airing their differences publicly, emphasising that such matters should not be dragged on social media.
The veteran actress announced that the matter has been settled and the tension is over.
In the video recorded in Yoruba, Madam Saje said:
“You guys are asking my children about me. I have taken a step since yesterday. I have settled it; I called them to take everything off social media. I have made Funke, Toyin and Iyabo know that their issue isn’t for social media. Thank you for listening to me. God bless all of them.”
She further appreciated the trio for giving her audience and expressed gratitude that they listened to her counsel.
